Matt is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner with numerous years of business and accounting experience at both a local firm and a “Big 4” accounting firm (KPMG). Throughout his career, he has worked with all types of companies, from large publicly traded companies to small closely held companies and nonprofit organizations, with a concentration on emerging companies. Matt has worked with his clients to provide traditional accounting services as well as management consulting services and financial projections.

Matt has experience working with VC companies and performing merger and acquisition due diligence. Matt is a graduate of Long Island University-C.W. Post, where he earned a B.A. in accounting. He is a member of the New York Society of CPA’s, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and several trade organizations. In addition, Matt is heavily involved in writing and editing several newsletters focusing on business, education, and healthcare areas.
